Closing the Loop: From Tracing to Return
The Asset Recovery Interagency Network, Asia Pacific (ARIN‑AP) is an informal network of practitioners and experts in asset tracing, freezing, and confiscation. It works as a cooperative group across the Asia‑Pacific region to tackle the proceeds of crime through faster, more trusted exchange between member jurisdictions.
India holds the ARIN‑AP Presidency for 2026 and is honoured to host the 11th Annual General Meeting in New Delhi from 28 to 30 September 2026, followed by a cultural day visit to any of the historial places on 1st October.

As ARIN‑AP Contact Point and host for AGM 2026, the Directorate of Enforcement extends a warm welcome to all member and observer jurisdictions.
Recovery only matters when stolen value reaches its rightful owner. The 2026 theme follows the asset through the full cycle and gives special weightage to the final and hardest step i.e. actually returning it to the rightful owner.
Identifying and locating proceeds of crime across jurisdictions and asset classes, including virtual assets.
Acting quickly to restrain assets before they move, with informal cooperation supporting formal measures.
Securing legal forfeiture, including non‑conviction based confiscation where frameworks allow.
Repatriation and restitution, closing the loop so recovered value is restored to victims and the state.
Steering Group Meeting, Annual General Meeting, and Cultural Programme. Sessions and timings are subject to change and will be confirmed to registered delegates.
Members / Observers [TBC] denotes presenters to be confirmed through the call for willingness. Few domestic Indian agencies may also be invited to present. Bilateral meetings among delegations may be held in parallel with the plenary sessions in designated breakout rooms throughout the AGM; slots may be requested in advance through the host.

Delegates can stay at one of the following carefully selected premium hotels, all centrally located in New Delhi and in close proximity to the conference venue at Bharat Mandapam. These iconic properties offer luxurious accommodations, world-class amenities, fine dining, and excellent connectivity. A limited block of rooms has been reserved at preferential rates exclusively for ARIN-AP delegates. Booking details and the reservation code will be provided upon registration. Practical guidance for delegates travelling to New Delhi. Detailed notes will be issued to registered delegations.
Most delegates will require a visa to enter India. The host will provide invitation letters to support applications.

A full‑day cultural excursion to one of the most recognised monuments in india, by coach from New Delhi and returning the same evening.
